Folks even rented one and I tried to learn but couldn’t coordinate my hands to each play something different at the same time.

My two kids…. One learned he couldn’t play the piano; the other learned he didn’t like it.

Oh I so wanted to play the violin like Jack Benny, I played it for a good 2 months but my music teacher said “not good enough”. She has me stay after class and gave me lyrics to a song (can’t remember the name anymore). However, she had this look on her face and I stopped and said WHAT’S WRONG! She said “nothing you have a beautiful voice” I am putting you in our chorus group. There I was all through HS.

I always envied people who could seem to play the piano so easily, like the 5 year old in a train station on YouTube playing Rachmaninoff.

I believe that I often bring out the best in somebody’s talents. David Bowie I’m sure that you, HappyDog, has also been envied in some way.

I learned the same thing about the Sax and the Guitar. But hey, I tried. lol

I tried for years to learn the guitar. Learned that I couldn’t play it. Gave it to somebody that could.
