Yes, this is the popular narrative now for people who deny systemic racism. Blame the unions. The truth is that if the unions donated to the GOP, conservatives would say they are ordained by God and the height of patriotism. I like how the teachers portrayed so comically. Ha, ha…stupid teachers; they think they are so smart yet they never see how perfect Trump is.

Political pandering and caving in to the demands of public sector unions have resulted in lousy schools and lousy police departments. The unions push back on accountability for it’s members and resists reform all while helping to grow an unfunded liability in the form of public sector pensions. Get rid of the police unions and stop chaining kids to horrible urban schools.

Or maybe we could just improve public schools and demand accountability from teachers unions.

Teacher here. Sorry Mr. Bok, we do believe that charter schools help keep our very racist education system going. If you don’t believe me go down south and ask what a segregation academy is.

Bok is Fine as long as the Tax money his Idol doesn’t pay, go to support minority people he can’t stand, in a religious education system to worship a God that Trump doesn’t believe in.

All because it will piss off the Liberals. Talk about convenient ethics.

Taxpayers have been subsidizing the churches since the Income Tax was invented, whether they had any reason to or not. Someone has to pay those taxes; just like a “senior discount” means “non-seniors pay more”. Fact.

I am not happy with this, but I accept it. I am happy to pay my taxes to support public schools, of which I am a product which allowed me to gain a doctorate in my chosen field. Even though I have no children of my own, I understand the investment in my society’s future is important.

I do NOT accept the idea that my tax dollars will go to non-taxable religious schools, which often contradict science, but promote social agendas that I do not and cannot agree with. The idea of giving people a tax credit for contributing to a religious schools is just a smokescreen to try to cover who’s transferring cash to whom.

Black children and their families don’t give a damn about charter schools or private schools. It’s about quality of education and just cause you send a kid to a school that costs a lot of money doesn’t mean the education is high quality. Just look at the Trump family.

Quick, everyone! Stop taking a critical look at what’s wrong with police unions and check out this propaganda about teacher’s unions instead!

Charter schools do NOT have better scores than public schools and they often are worse. This is despite the fact that charter schools can pick-and-choose their students while public schools need to take everyone. Properly fund ALL schools rather than using local property taxes which short-changes public schools in lower income areas.

Charter schools will not take the “bad” kids. They won’t take the special ed kids. They’ll take the students of color, and then dump them first chance they get.

And then you want to give charter schools the money meant for public schools.

So yes, public school teachers are against charter schools.

You don’t like defund police, but defund schools somehow makes sense to you?
