Deja vu all over again! Those who do not learn from the mistakes of the past are destined to repeat them!

It might have helped if we’d recognized the mujahideen for their assistance in bringing down the iron curtain.

Libya is a total cluster F….If Hillery and the U.N. get there way. They will set a precident to to topple un-cooperative leaders in a march of world domination.

Calling for leaders to step down or start following orders of the New World Order Governent.

People should not be afraid of their government, governments should be afraid of their people.

The U.S. has to start doing the right thing. And I don’t mean what the rich, greedy, thieving, disloyal politicians in Washington think is right or say they think is right. I mean what’s right.

Big difference between Desert Storm and OIF. Desert Storm has an exit strategy, kick the Iraqi army out of Kuwait, degrade Iraq’s ability to wage war and leave. Which we did.

It was a mistake to go into Viet Nam and it’s a mistake to go into Libya. Although Viet Nam was divided we should have let the French lose there and stay out imho. Libya is a soveriegn country, u.n. or not, it’s a crime to attack it. imho.

“Vietnam was in a whole other era, the Cold War, and it was important to resist Communism even in situations where success was doubtful.”

It was important to resist Communism by killing hundreds of thousands of Vietnamese, who were embroiled in a centuries old conflict between North and South? We fed the Military Industrial Complex a banquet of blood, gore and profit, and left the souls of 55,000 American GIs in the vapors that rose from the swamps of Southeast Asia, not to mention the broken men and women who came back to face nightmares, addiction, homelessness, suicide and unrelenting anguish–ah, but the people came out to the 4th of July parades and waved little American flags made in China, so God Bless America. Resist Communism? Just keep butchering history–that’ll keep us safe.

It’s these “Non-World Wars” that keep the Military Industrial Establishment open for business round the clock. When WWll ended and our military began to wither on the vine it took Korea to get the vine growing again….and, we learned that war and peace was too much of an extreme, so small on-going wars came along to maintain a healthy vine…just enough to keep peace from screwing up the Military Industrial Complex (Establishment). It’s a society with-in itself….a culture all it’s own supported by the threat of a threat on the world scene.
