I was in one of our mountain parks one day hiking with my dog, she got a jumping cactus in a paw and I squatted down to take it out and immediately rose back up. Turned around and looked but there was nothing behind me. Squatted back down and immediately rose back up again. After the third time I finally looked and had a piece of cactus in the heel of my shoe.
