Elizabeth Eaton, the presiding bishop for the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, condemned Trump’s decision to use the Catholic shrine as a political backdrop.
His so-called ‘Christian’ followers are about all he has left.
In 2014, Senator Mitch McConnell, held a rifle up with his right hand at a CPAC meeting. He held in such a way that you would think he never used a rifle before. Of course it was just a prop. The same way that the Bible is a prop to Donald Trump.
How many preachers, priests, nuns, rabbis, or even evangelical con-men would he tear gas or shoot for a photo op in front of a church? Give me that old time religion !
