Fun story at a not-so-fun time in the past: My father came to America from Germany courtesy of an early version of the Kinder Transport. When is father learned that the foster family was in Albany, he made sure they packed lots of long underwear and warm clothes for Dad. Turns out, though, that he was bound for Albany, Georgia. Never got to use those nice warm clothes from home.
