Trump Disciples believe that having to wear a mask or shelter in place is oppression.

They also believe that unarmed black men dying at the hands of police is just an unfortunate tragedy that happens from time to time.

    .

Meanwhile, Their Messiah applies his awesome leadership skills to the protests exactly the same way he does to the pandemic.

“When I’m president, we’ll be winning so much that people will get tired of it.” MAGA

Moreover, mask defiance is losing its hold on the right-wing media, a vital part of Trump’s political life-support system.

None other than Fox News and Trump sycophant Sean Hannity scolded partyers in Missouri who crowded in and around a pool with no masks:

“I see no social distancing. But if they get the virus and they’re in contact with older, more vulnerable Americans, that could be a disaster,” he said, echoing the words of sane and responsible leaders everywhere.

“If you can’t social distance, please wear the mask for your mom, dad, grandma, grandpa.”

Hannity is not alone in refusing to add his voice to the mask-defying chorus.

By their own conduct, mask-wearing Republican governors and senators who otherwise have supported Trump effectively communicate that they are not following Trump’s example on this one.

Trump’s lonely mask defiance is a powerful symbol of his political and cultural isolation.

“Wearing a face covering is not about politics — it’s about helping other people,” Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine® said Tuesday in a plea over Twitter, echoing comments by North Dakota Gov. Doug Burgum® last week. “This is one time when we truly are all in this together.”

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) posted a photograph on Instagram of himself in a mask Tuesday night.

Rep. Fred Upton (R-Mich.), who faces a tough reelection fight, has added “#wearyourmask” to his Twitter handle, after photographing himself earlier the month wearing a mask in an airport as part of an appeal for the public to “remain vigilant.”

Sen. John Cornyn (Tex.), a member of the Republican leadership who is running for reelection this year, shared a photo of himself in a mask Monday, asking others to adopt the practice.

“We all have to do our part. Maintain social distancing but if you can’t, do this,” Cornyn wrote on Instagram. “Easy peasy. Go for it.”

The comments come as Trump continues to treat face masks as something to mock, refusing to wear one in public and joining his staff and family in ridiculing his Democratic rival Joe Biden for doing otherwise.

White House staff members are required to wear masks in the building, though Trump is exempted from that rule.

Well according to a deep fake, deep state leak that was an alleged internal CDC document, there were supposed to be 3,000 covid deaths per day and rising by June1. (https://www.nationalreview.com/news/internal-cdc-models-project-3000-daily-covid-deaths-by-june-1/)

Yet, according to the liberal record of trust, the Washington Post, the number of daily COVID deaths is not rising, but falling every day. In addition instead of the propaganda prediction of over 3,000 covid deaths per day, it is under 950 and decreasing daily. (https://www.washingtonpost.com/graphics/2020/national/coronavirus-us-cases-deaths/).

The fearmongering covid lockdown tyrants knew they couldn’t lockdown America much longer based on the truth, how convenient that another way has come along to try to destroy America…the rioting of the socialists. Good news, Americans and Trump are not going to stand by and let a bunch of radicals hijack a just movement against police brutality so they can end our Country. The covid lies and the socialist lies are all being exposed.

At a press conference on Monday, foreign ministry spokesman, Lijian Zhao urged the US to eliminate racial discrimination and protect the lawful rights of minorities, according to state-backed media, CGTN.

“The death of George Floyd reflects the severity of racial discrimination and police brutality in the US,” said Zhao.

Zhao also threatened “counter-attacks” on the US for continued retaliatory measures over China’s increased control over Hong Kong, which include reversing Hong Kong’s special customs status.

On Sunday China’s foreign ministry spokeswoman, Hua Chunying posted “I can’t breathe” – Floyd’s last words – to Twitter, with a screenshot of her American counterpart criticising China’s crackdown on Hong Kong.

Zhao also retweeted numerous comments and reports on the protests, including from Russia’s deputy representative to the UN, accusing the US of double standards.

“Why US denies China’s right to restore peace and order in HK while brutally dispersing crowds at home?” said Dmitry Polyanskiy.

Here’s a shock: The Lancet hid (and the authors apparently “cooked”) the data that said hydroxychloroquine was worthless or worse. Several of the comments below the article suggested that The Lancet has a history of such deceptions. I am not a medical professional, just reporting what others see.

Nation Wishes God Would Send Someone Who Could Unify People Across Races, Classes, Genders, Tribes, Tongues

    June 1st, 2020

U.S.—The nation wished this week that God would send someone who could unify people across all races, classes, genders, tribes, and tongues. People from all across the country thought it would be great if there were some sort of perfect God-Man who could bear all personal sin and racial enmity in Himself in a kind of sacrificial act that would culminate in ending racism forever.

“If only there were someone that could take the racial divide and execute it — maybe, I dunno, through like a crucifixion or something — for good,” said local man Fred Howser. “He could pay for all our sins and make it so that we can unite with others despite our differences in nationalities and ethnicities.” Howser further suggested this person could take the dividing wall of hostility between races down and destroy it, becoming peace for us.

“That’d be awesome. We could all be one in this ‘Chosen One’ and not resort to humanistic solutions to racism. Alas, it is not to be. We are on our own and have to figure out racial problems by just burning things down and screaming at each other.”

The proposed plan would make it so that we wouldn’t have to use critical race theory or Marxist ideas to solve racism but instead could unite as one as we yearned for the day when the weak would be made strong and everything bad would come untrue.

“Too bad we just have to keep destroying each other instead.”

Ah, Jbm is quoting the Babylon Bee again.

    ~

(The Borowitz Report)—A controversial new study suggests that the United States of America could benefit from having a President.

The study has raised eyebrows by claiming that a President could be helpful in unifying a country and, in a best-case scenario, providing moral leadership.

“At a time of crisis, a President could be a galvanizing figure who leads a country to a better future,” the study theorizes. “He or she could bring a nation together rather than tear it apart.”

In one of the study’s most radical proposals, it argues that a so-called Justice Department could include an Attorney General appointed by the President to uphold the rule of law.

“Additionally, a President, by scrupulously obeying the law himself, could set an example for the rest of the country,” the study claims. “As improbable as it might seem, citizens would look to the President as someone to admire and emulate in their daily lives.”

While many in the United States remain resistant to the concept of having a President, the study says that desperate times may lead them to consider such an unorthodox measure.

“We have ample evidence of what happens when a country does not have a President,” the study concludes. “It’s a s*** show.”

I saw Reggie Watts cry on national TV last night. Okay, so it was at almost midnight local time, but it was national TV. And I have no reason to believe it was rehearsed.

Corden and Colbert gave probably their best performances ever. Period.

And then I come to this sandbox and wonder – is this where the cats come overnight?

Normally, Silly Season is the one who likes to quote lengthy – but informed and intelligent articles – on the days events.

    Sorry if I’m intruding today:

    https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/opinion/weve-now-entered-the-final-phase-of-the-trump-era/ar-BB14UK5y

    The second and third paragraphs:

For three chaotic years, Donald Trump muddled through, at least in the eyes of Republicans, buoyed by the strong economy he inherited from his predecessor and powered forward by the long GOP wish list, which included, among many items, judicial appointments, deregulation, and the undoing of the Iran nuclear deal. Virtually every consequential and sympathetic analysis of the Trump administration, though, included a caveat: A serious crisis would upend any Republican progress and test the ill-equipped and vindictive president. Deep down, we all hoped the country would get lucky and slip through these four years without a paradigm-changing incident. But if luck is earned, we had no right to it.

The worst possible crisis arrived in COVID-19, one that tugged at every weakness of the president and the nation. It demanded scientific literacy, discipline, trust in authority, sacrifice, and patience. And then another crisis arrived with the economic depression. And then another, with the brutal murder of George Floyd. Now more than 100,000 people are dead, more than 40 million are unemployed, and violent protests have spread across the country.

    (end quote)

I lay all of this at the feet of Donald Trump, perpetrator in chief.

He may not have personally manufactured any of these contagions, but he bears responsibility in that he has used each of these to worsen the lives of Americans and the rest of the world.

The Greatest Negotiator in Human History demonstrating the entire spectrum of his negotiating skills:

“You have to dominate or you’ll look like a bunch of jerks, you have to arrest and try people…if you don’t put it down it will get worse and worse. The only time it’s successful is when you’re weak and most of you are weak.”

    .

The fact that he said this shortly after a call with Putin is totally unrelated.
