That’s one dangerous looking slide, even without the skateboard. Still tying to figure out if low clouds or high slide, appreciate the illusion.

In a local park they had slides that went from the top of a hill to a sand pit at the bottom, about fifty yards. Great fun for kids and adults. Then some overzealous hovermoms and hoverdads got them to take the slides out because they were “not safe.” When are the whimps (whiny wimps) going to get it through their thick, sanctimonious skulls (severe osteomentitis) that there is no such thing as “safe?”

I played on swings, monkey bars, and slides set in concrete. Went swimming in the local mill pond, hunted frogs, turtles and snakes in the brook that fed into it, climbed trees, and rode my bike without a helmet, and wasn’t due home until the streetlights came on. Yet I lived!
