I don’t see the ear piercings.Please tell me Mrs. Angelini made it into the new strip.

Could be worse, she could have gotten a nose ring too.

What are you going to do, unpierce them?

Where are her earrings? Also, don’t turn them.

Is Heart biracial now? Or is the syndicate colorist just playing around? Interesting watching the story-world mutate as the new creator settles in. (She’s much darker than her mom all of a sudden.)

I’m sort of surprised Momma Heart took her to a tattoo shop for the piercing. Shows that I’m older than Steenz, I guess. To me, tween girls get pierced at mall kiosks, because their moms would never go to a tattoo shop.

And that’s why mom didn’t want you to get them pierced.

Did Heart ask Kay ANY useful questions? She didn’t ask if it hurt, she didn’t ask if you had to do anything once you got it done.

And if Heart thinks a few simple instructions is too many rules, she’s in for a rough life. Starting with infected earlobes.

I think the coloring looks great today. Everyone looks nice and healthy. And Heart and her mom don’t look all that different to me. Maybe you are focusing on the shading?

The piercing guns do the job terribly. Unevenly apparently. The needle through the ear like Heart got, is best. Hardly ever produces keloids.
