My wife and I are about 12 weeks overdue our trip to the beach. We like to go in the spring and fall when the weather is nice and there are no crowds. It looks like we will miss out this year.
If one is so well off that missed vacation opportunities are even a concern, then one is doing very well. Count your blessings and move on.

Neighbor passed by yesterday. Said she was getting her exercise for the day by walking to the food truck at the nearby park.
