It’s funny how Amend used the word “gaffer.” In the novel, that’s what Sam called his father. In real life, it’s the lighting technician on the movie set.

Concerning the bleeps. I think it’s ironic that we can’t talk about darning our socks, but we can use the words dang and heck all we want.

Galadriel was a power among the Elves, a bearer of one of the three. Oh david, just one thing, the Gaffer was Sam’s grandfather.

I,ve read the set may be a half dozon times over the years.

DARKFORCE I may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer, but even I figured to add a prefix of suffix and it breezed by the censors, Damned if a dash doesn’t work. Do not attempt to use the “Q” word for odd, or the 3 letter “F” word for Andy Capp’s (now gone) butt hanging out his lip.

^ I think the funniest one I saw here recently was when someone tried to say “magna c u m laude”… Didn’t work for some reason!
