One of my four dogs would attack a person or dog trying to hurt us. If a snail, worm, feather or butterfly attacked, it’s a different story. She has been frightened by all of them when they moved.
If you really want to see a slimy disgusting slug, then…okay, I’ll stop and leave politics out of it!
The shells on our garden snails aren’t a lot of protection from anything weighing more than 20 pounds. (Step – Crunch).
Snails are good with garlic butter. Escargot, anyone?

But slugs are the speed demons of the family.
