Sonny isn’t having a sunny disposition on a sunny day.

Sonny has really grown up. Now he looks almost as tall as his father. How strange to see a boy who was always calm and kind in such a bad mood. If growing up has that effect on him, what will it be like for Linton?

And that explains why Shauna’s trepidation of Mildred visiting Sonny. He’s a BoyBearMan now.

That awkward point in life when you’re neither quite man or boy and instead caught somewhere in-between the two.

Apparently, Grandpa is named Joseph, and Grandma is named Josephine. Grandpa Joe and Grandma Jo.

When Sonny was a child, he spoke as a child, he understood as a child, he thought as a child: but when he became a man, he put away childish things.
