Loved going to the arcade. But by the 90’s, a) the games became more complicated and b) I was old enough that my presence would look potentially nefarious in the midst of the kiddies.

Good at gin rummy, riding my bike, and making up stories for dolls.
Grew up still bad at sports, good at gin and poker… and scrabble and crossword puzzles…
but the world changed, and now it’s a different skill set that matters.
