Red’s report on WWII …

The war ended.

Keep it short and sweet, and make them hungry for more!

“It happened and then it was over. The end.”

I always made sure it was all covered and gave them what was wanted for the assignment as we always had “number of word requirements”.

Loving the English Language and being good at spelling, writing papers never bothered me…but I was none too good at punctuation and sentence structure! THAT gave the teachers fits and me mark-downs.

I like his way of thinking.

Just call him Red Cliff Notes, lol!

Rover is definitely the one with the brains here.

Eminently practical.

Will it pass the “parental unit” check?

The old politicians screamed at each, their kids fought the war and died, then there was a peace that lasted five minutes. Rinse and repeat. The End.

I had a college roommate who was the least talkative person I ever met. I once joked to her that she could tell the plot of WAR AND PEACE in 10 words. She replied, “Don’t know. Haven’t read it.” 5 words.

The Children’s Blizzard. Very tragic. My daughter is a school teacher in western Nebraska and it is still talked about and guides their dismissal policy.
