There’s a report that concludes that COVID-19 could have been reduced in impact by 95% had China effed it up from the outset.
I made the mistake of watching a video of the “wet markets” in China where this virus likely started. It’s hard to believe places like this even exist in a supposedly civilized, modern society…it’s disgusting.
The impact might well have been reduced had we left our CDC epidemiology unit based in China that was on the watch for such events instead of deciding that it was a waste of money (and besides was established in the Obama administration).

In the last briefing he called the virus, the virus. I’d be willing to bet that if he was in ‘rally mode’ it would be the ‘CHINESE VIRUS’ for sure.
