Reminds me of here. Not my laundry though. It’s the kids’ downstairs.

I’ll do the laundry the day I put on my last clean clothes.

It isn’t like she has to go to the cold river and pound the clothes on a rock, or do them on a washboard! Her washer & dryer look like the latest models available in cartoon land.

Occasionally I have to point out to my wife, that all five laundry baskets are full of her clean clothes and I have more laundry to do. (I’m retired, she’s still working).

If.. you folded as soon as you took it out.. you would save having to iron stuff.

Funny thing, I procrastinate on doing the laundry, going a few days past when I should have done it. But once I start, it gets washed, dried, folded and put away without delay. I’ve never gotten to the point where I ran out of clean clothes, but ideally, I do it once a week instead of waiting 8 or 9 days. On the upside, we have an in-house laundry where I live, so I can do 2 loads at a time and get it all done quickly.

Consider those baskets your dresser drawers.

I have not been fortunate enough to be visited by the clothes folding fairy.
