IF we end up not having a huge crisis and collapse, we’ll never know whether all this extra effort was needed. The only way we’ll know for sure is if we find out it wasn’t soon enough or big enough. Though we can see in Italy and Spain how bad it can get.
I’ve run across a few comments from people who still think it’s not so bad. Or did until the number of cases around here went up and then up again. And the first death occurred. Family wasn’t allowed to be at the patient’s bedside and people were angered by that. How much more proof do people need to convince them that this is real? The patient wasn’t old, caught it, was treated for pneumonia after testing but sent home with medication. They went back in the hospital with symptoms of severe acute respiratory syndrome (remember SARS?). Look up the symptoms and development of what patients experience with SARS. That’s what this becomes in a percentage of these cases. But it’s also about people who don’t have symptoms or are not feeling too very bad spreading it to others who won’t be able to handle it.
And now we see what happens when The Velveeta Voldemort runs up against a REAL CRISIS, one that he CAN’T Bluster, Blather, Babble and B.S. away. One that he CAN’T give a childish nickname to on Twitter. One that he CAN’T blame on everybody else. One that he CAN’T rely on his cartel of sycophants to cover his fat ass and hide and try to explain away his UTTER incompetence! And THIS MONUMENTAL SCREWUP is KILLING PEOPLE, and will more then likely trash the Economy for YEARS to come!
Did he create the virus? Of course not, but he DID eliminate most of the country’s first line of defense against a situation exactly like this, simply because it was something Obama set up. Voldemort’s claim that it was costing too much money for something that might never be used, and we could get the entire program going again within days is pure B.S.. You DON’T build a seawall while a hurricane is bearing down on your Florida property, you make sure it was in place LONG before it is actually needed. But, of course, that makes FAR too much sense for this fat MORON to understand!
It might be a bit different if the administration stopped contradicting itself. Trump says one thing, Pence says another, Dr. Fauci says something completely different. Fourteen contradictory statements since March 9, according to the Washington Post. Since I am not a stable genius, nor is my gut a reliable hunch maker, nor do I know more about every thing than anyone else, I’m rather at a loss. /s
In an attempt to replicate his success in Puerto Rico, throwing paper towels to the victims; he’s decided to throw paper at the problem again…. I’m betting that golf resorts and casinos are at the top of his bailout lists….
