Many, many years ago, Hubby and I were eating in a Chinese restaurant. He picked up an egg roll and began smearing it with mustard. The man eats Pepper Jack cheese, so I thought he knew what he was doing. He didn’t. Have you ever seen a cartoon where the character’s eyes bug out? It really can happen! Not only did he melt the wax in his ears, but he claimed it blew the link out of his navel.
Turned out it was his first encounter with Chinese foods – period -and he had NO idea that wasn’t French’s mustard.
