He apparently did say that the Democrats (etc) are overstating the danger. He apparently did not  actually blame them for causing people to die of it. Not that I can quickly find, anyway.

Lack of testing kits – check. Hobbling or cutting departments which would have worked on pandemic and bioterrorism issues – check. Secretary of Health and Human Services saying that private drug companies should be allowed to charge whatever they want when a vaccine is developed – check. Demonstrated incompetence in handling coronavirus similar to handling of civil rights, immigration, the economy, relations with allies, adherence to the Constitution – checkmate.

You know the real problem? Trump is sicker than ANYBODY, but his sickness is in his brain, not his body. (For all the good that does us………)

Seasonal flu kills 291,000 to 646,000 people worldwide each year, according to a new estimate that’s higher than the previous one of 250,000 to 500,000 deaths a year. The new figures from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and other groups were published Dec. 13 in The Lancet medical journal.

It all comes down to the fact that tRump is playing a hunch with our health in the hopes that it won’t really be so bad, but if it is, at least it will eliminate the surplus sicky population clamoring for health insurance.
