I prefer a good ‘dumb’ car. We have had parked out back a Saturn Vue that was in good physical condition. Why has it been parked all this time? The computer on board had a nervous breakdown. It would cost about what I paid for my last car to have that repaired or replaced.
The worst car I ever had was a 1996 dodge grand caravan. After the second computer failure There were no more parts to be found. Purchase and repairs were about $1/mile when all was said and done. Not to mention the hassle of being broke down multiple times.
My truck is a 2017 Dodge Ram Tradesman edition. It has AC and cruise control and that’s it. The windows are crank operated and the doors only lock if you push the button down by hand. And its ALL the tech I need in any vehicle!
