A very long time ago Gene Nelson, a DJ at KSFO in San Francisco had a comedy show on Friday nights and every Friday night from the day after Thanksgiving until the Friday before Christmas would play Stan Freberg’s “Green Christmas.” A perfect send up of Xmas advertising of the 50s. That is not played on radio anymore. Worth it to find.
