Count on Lester to try to put words into God’s mouth. And of course, to get it wrong.

The so-called religious tend to do that.

Yet another phoned-in cartoon signifying nothing. I’m not sure is Lester is engaged in self pity, or judging someone who criticized Kobe (which also is inconsequential in the scheme of things). The drawing of the guy looks like the typical way Mike draws himself as a victim, but the strip is too inane and banal to even make that determination with any certainty. In other words, a Mike Lester cartoon.

Oh, McGoo, you’ve done it again.

I’m shocked, shocked that a conservative cartoonist would stand up for an accused rapist.

I don’t get the point here.

So this is what heaven looks like to a conservative.

It’s a sin to be critical of someone famous now?

For a mere $2.5 MILLION, his lawyers made that charge disappear.

Last year at about this time, Lester drew Jesus as a violent, thuggish, humorless fellow. I guess this is an improvement . . . Which is sad.

That’s the conservative “God” and the conservative mindset for you… punishes those who criticize, and punish them harshly. Don’t want people thinking for themselves. Don’t want people failing to blindly idolize.

So what is the score card here do we mourn Kobe as a Father and Superstar or say karma got his rapist behind what it deserved ?

That is the thing that terrifies me most about some conservatives…how they think they speak for God, or that everything they do is sanctioned by God. A person who believes that can say anything and do anything no matter how awful or evil because they think they have the ultimate hall pass from God.

Absolutely brilliant, insightful, and incisive humor from Mister Lester! Too bad so many of his “fans” lack the wit to appreciate his.

Looks like how The Impeachment is gonna end up!
