Well, Gramma’s can be like that! Butter and brown sugar on bread. Mustard and thin slices of onion on bread. Peanut butter with an extremely wide variety of toppings, sometimes in combo’s like green grapes and bananas, or so weird you gotta wonder what her teacup really had in it, AKA peanut butter and sweet pickle relish!!!

Oh, and just because we loved all our Grandma’s, Aunties, honorary family members, as well as other’s fav’ relatives; we always had a bite, “just to see” and some were surprisingly good. Live long and prosper, beloved elders!!!

My mom liked GAC with pickle slices. Me, I like to add deli sliced turkey or BACON! (pre-cooked, of course

Blech! My mother insisted on putting sugar in canned creamed corn niblets.

“It tastes just like fresh corn straight out of the garden!” Um, no mom… it tastes like canned corn with sugar dumped in it.

I don’t think cats have a sensor for sweet so it should taste just fine for Fargo.

Of course, Fargo, being a cat (and unable to taste “sweet”), would be just as thrilled to eat a grilled cheese without sugar.

No. Sugar on grilled cheese would not appeal to me.

Grilled sharp cheddar cheese with maple syrup drizzled on it is very tasty.
