Today is:

National Corn Chip Day

National Puzzle Day. I love doing puzzles – jigsaw puzzles. crossword puzzles (I prefer the easy ones) and other word games.

I always wonder when I rescue a worm if that was the direction they wanted to go and now they have to start over.

I know! What if they had important business to attend to and now global warming is amping up.

Leave the worms alone!

Still coughing. I’ve tried everything. Cough drops helped but they have oil of eucalyptus (I’m allergic) and made my mouth itch. Zicam works sorta and Robitussin only made me loopy. Arrrgh!

Meanwhile I’m awake…. rats. Ideas?

Web MD says self care and self medication and antibiotics won’t help.

Little worm, if Annie hadn’t picked you up, you’d probably have drowned.

That was a big LOL moment.

I hope it wasn’t a “Calvin & Hobbes” worm from the last two days of cartoons. That would be scary.

There’s nothing wrong with moving a worm if you can do it without harming them. The dead and dried out worms I see on the carport concrete could have used a rescue.

Poor Annie…even worms find a way to put her act of kindness down.

Poor Annie, once again her kindness misinterpreted, this time by a worm! On ComicsSherpa, a lugworm/gull combo is featured. The mayhem would ensue should there ever be a crossover with TC.

At least Annie means well. Such a sweet kid. On another note, saw a finch while out walking today. It was raining (fortunately, I had my umbrella), so I didn’t see very many other animals. I did see some little insect flitting about, though.
