Favorite winter activity (one of) – breaking the ‘cat ice’ on the top of frozen puddles.
“Crackle” is not what I want to hear while on a putatively frozen pond. Especially when I’m with a child.
Seems like child abuse, to me…having your infant test a weak spot on the ice to see if it holds?
