I wonder how people became so gullible to believe in this nonsense.In Philadelphia, the Groundhog doe snot sees his shadow, the one in Virginia does. I just feel sorry for the poor Groundhog being awakened from his winter sleep for this.

My mother always said if he didn’t see his shadow, Spring would be here in 6 weeks. Superstitions were generally treated with disdain.
In the New York, New Jersey area, we just ended the tenth warmest January in history!
Down here in the eastern part of the world winter has already left through the windows.
