(I repeat from Lisa’s ’toon) – Poor repubs are champing at the bit to automatically exonerate the Rump before more damning evidence shows up. I hope it’s driving them (more) crazy.

Now didn’t Mitch wait on Supreme Court nominations until after the next elections? If the Senate can do it… learn from Mitch how to be “fair”….

The rule for right-wingers: Whatever a Democrat is doing is wrong! And if they reverse course, then that is wrong too!

Must have been another short deadline and Lester expended all his creative skill in the Counterpoint offerings. They must pay more (although his messages still lack, they’re just cruder and would be rejected by GoComics). This we have this bit of fecal offering as a result.

Oh Oh OH I know ….. She is waiting until the American People get to have their say about the Senate. Just Like McConnell did with the Merrick Garland nomination.

The Senate takes office on Jan 3rd The New president will be sworn in Jan 20th. So for 17 Days the New Senate can Remove The Schmuck From Office. He could be the FIRST removed from office by Trial!

Considering that pretty much every conservative cartoon is running the same theme, I would guess the GOP is getting very nervous, maybe even running scared.

My question is….. Since the house still has the articles of impeachment and Bolton has said he would testify if subpoenaed, why not the House subpoena Bolton and then attach his testimony to the articles of impeachment before submitting them to the Senate?

Delay as long as necessary to as the melt down has started. The republicans said no one with first hand knowledge had testified. In a true trial they would have to be heard from. Pelosi should use the media every day to make this happen.

Another chump who believes it’s the job of a female to jump when ordered. Moscow Mitch is not the speaker of the house.

The plurality of registered voters is independent/unaffiliated while the Democrats/Republicans share the balance amongst equally. The sentiment of the independents ( https://thehill.com/opinion/campaign/437989-republican-party-has-to-embrace-moderation-or-lose-crucial-voters ) should give the Democrats the edge in 202o for Congress, but they are helping the resident with so many candidates and philosophies — appealing to different age cohorts — going into the primaries.

Do we currently even have a public figure that everyone respects that could unify the country if s/he ran for president?

    Her googly eyes blinked!

Nancy Pelosi wrote in a letter “I have asked Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler to be prepared to bring to the Floor next week a resolution to appoint managers and transmit articles of impeachment to the Senate. I will be consulting with you at our Tuesday House Democratic Caucus meeting.”

I can’t wait for Lester’s cartoon about the oath the Senators will have to take before the trial.

Moscow Mitch will likely not make any more stupid statements about being in total coordination with the Defendant, but will still collude with the defense in total violation of his “oath”.

Hypocrisy is a bad thing, Mike?
