CNN and WLWT report the suit was for $275 Million but the amount of settlement is unspecified. Fox19 reports the total of all the suits was $800 Million and the amount of settlement is unspecified. Hannity doesn’t do “reports” but he’d bet the settlement is in the $2 to $10 Million range, and that CNN should have done better reporting (I agree with that part). That just about brackets what Duckduckgo showed me.

The point to remember is that media outlets do not settle nuisance suits that involve their reporting. Internal suits, like Fox and the others getting hit with harassment and sex demand cases get settled. But stuff that involves 1st Amendment rights are fought tooth and nail unless the network stands a good chance of losing.
I expect the cash amount is a pinprick, but the stain of settling will never be erased. It is akin to pleading the 5th. It doesn’t automatically mean you’re guilty but the public perception is pretty much universal.
