Ames says, "oh, it's a chick flick, too?"

As a parent, Dad should know better than to let the kids do a snow job on him. I learned the hard way—Me, to my cousin’s kids I was looking after:" Is it OK with your Mom to go down to the construction site?" Cousins: “Yeah, she said it was OK.” Of course she had not, but naïve me believed them (they wouldn’t lie to me, would they? HAH) So of course, one of the workers shows up carrying the youngest, dripping blood all over the place, requiring a trip to the ER and a dozen stitches. He ended up with a nifty scar, and I learned to always “trust but verify”.
