The worst case of bad odour I ever came across was when we had a bed delivered. One of the guys that brought it in smelled so bad that the hallway and stairs reeked of him for days even after opening the windows. It must have stuck to the walls. Fortunately it hadn’t been transferred to the bed (by some miracle) or that really would have been bad.
