A touch of Garlic probably wouldn’t hurt, either.
Simple Rules for writing a good book:
1) Create one or two characters the reader will Like and want to “hang out” with.
2) Mistreat the ever loving Hell out of them.
3) Teach those characters how to fight back.
4) In Japan, Happy Endings are Optional. Sometimes, no matter how much it hurts, the Good Guys Lose.
