“May we have a pint of your blood? Or $50. Or an arm or a leg?” I love PBS and NPR and contribute regularly, but while I understand their need for support, it really is disheartening to be guilted so often!
I believe more of what I pick up from NPR than the guys who are shilling products and services. Note, I don’t believe everything. Everyone has an axe to grind.
