The so called “war on Christmas” is actually some “Christians’” war on other religions. I can well imagine evangelicals standing in front of synagogues and mosques with glowing “MERRY CHRISTMAS”signs.
The P.C. police won’t be happy until they have drained every ounce of humour, happiness and enjoyment out of life; particularly if you happen to be a Christian, conservative, white, heterosexual male. I’m fed up with hearing how everything I might say think or do “offends” somebody while I’m expected to surrender my rights and freedoms to these thought police. Merry Christmas.
This Christian, Liberal, White (married to a Cherokee), heterosexual male told at least 5 people Merry Christmas while getting a physical and Christmas shopping. Of course, anyone who checks the etymology of the word “holiday” will find that it comes from an Old English word meaning “holy day.”
