Trump supporters think they’re on the inside, the people who will not be hurt. Most of them are not, but that’s the pitch.

High school kids are vicious. They are terrified themselves, all of them. The king and queen ( every high school has them) are terrified that they will do one little thing or wear the wrong thing, and be demoted to the hanger on group. The people in the hanger on group ( those allowed to associate with the king and queen) are similarly terrified for the same reason. Royals bully nonroyals to prove they are superior, because they know perfectly well that they really aren’t and need to prove to the other royals what they know is untrue. The fact that nonroyals shoot up schools is simply a result of this system. Everyone who has shot up a school has been described as someone who was “bullied”. People are rioting in streets all over the world because they believe they are being treated unfairly. Why would we expect high school kids to be any better than adults?
