Update from the Campaign – Brian Carroll for CA-30:

Right now, we’re up against our first major hurdle – the filing deadline for getting on the ballot is this Friday, December 6. Because California moved next year’s primary up to Super Tuesday, all the other deadlines moved up along with it. If you’re able to donate to our campaign, please consider doing it this week, as we’ll need to funds to make sure we can pay the filing fee and have some flexibility to forge ahead! Any amount will help us to our goal: briancarrollforcongress.com

My goodness, we’ve been here before, it seems. Parties and the press can be pwned.

Well, after the treasonweasel is hauled off to Federal Prison, Lil’ Jimmy can relax, since he’ll no longer be known as the MOST CORRUPT PRESIDENT IN U.S. HISTORY!!!

Totally off topic and about a week late, but…

This (probably fake)story just broke…When told by White House staffers that he was supposed to pardon a turkey for thanksgiving, the POTUS replied, “But Rudy hasn’t been charged with anything yet!?!?!”

I love the irony of Franklin Pierce reading the charges. His administration had to run a close second to Buchanan for the most corrupt.

If the Trumps hadn’t immigrated from Germany in 1885, I’d say we have an ancestor.

As often, I have learned much (as well as being much entertained) by this edition. I didn’t know what it was all about, though, and had to look it up, and thanks to the Eye of Google I was able to find out a great deal about something I was largely ignorant about. Many thanks.

Sorry, #15, but history has far from “totally exonerated” you, as historical presidential rankings consistently have you at or next to the bottom. Unfortunately for our nation, there is room down there for more.

The similarities to the current situation are…a stretch, at best. The actual evidence against Buchanan was substantial, provable and extensive. A far cry from the parade of I believe/I think/I assumed witness we have been graced with.

There is also the matter of the 115-45 vote to convene that Committee. Bipartisan? Oh yeah.
