An old neighbour of mine used to buy ALL her next year’s gifts, cards, wrapping paper, etc. in the January sales. We all thought she was a bit odd.
Hey it’s twelve days of Christmas (12-25 to 1-6) – that’s all kinds of a good idea!
Orthodox Christians do this every year, since their Christmas falls on January 6.
