serenasakitty I’ll be more than happy to send all the snow to anyone who wants it. We only got about 10 cm but that was still too much. Personally I have seen all the snow, ice and cold that I want to forever.
I feel exactly the same way (right now we don’t have any snow on the ground – all that we got earlier melted). But as long as I live in Wisconsin, I’m going to have to accept the snow and cold weather. I have friends in South Dakota who would love to get all of our snow, if only I could find a way to send it to them.
Nice scarf Chesney! Poor Bluebell looks so sad. My silly cats don’t seem to mind the cold. I see them outside their cozy bungalow at all hours, including during our snowfall few days ago! Why use the indoor catbox when you can go out and dig in the snow! Yesterday a Marsh Hawk, aka Harrier, made a low dip over their fenced yard and Barney didn’t even budge. A cat would be too big for them, they like mice and birds. But I often wonder if the owls take a second look, I expect that their excellent eyesight sees the wire covering as a barrier.
This cheered me up, I changed my avatar for now…in memory of my Tugger, he died at home yesterday morning I believe heart attack or heart failure, he is darker grey cat on left…he was one of my two oldest, at 8… sad : (
One of the Boston cats, Timon, who’s 13 and the last one left of the litter born in our backyard, had an ultrasound today. A couple of weeks ago he had blood work as he’d lost some weight. The blood work didn’t show anything and, fortunately, all the ultrasound has turned up is some intestinal issues that mean he’ll probably need special food.

Las Vegas is freezing cold too. Snow on all the local mountains. Took the dog for a walk this afternoon, and we had blue noses!!!

Lucky for Chesney that he didn’t run into Lily or he’d be black AND blue! On another note, saw two sparrows while out walking today.
