We lost a circuit design software contract because their mainframe lover said it would just load into their giant mainframe and run. It was never completed and never ran over the many years of the contract. We continued to improve and buy competitors and exceeded expectations of their checklist and won the next bid. The previous winners were barred because they never delivered a working product. We also hired their contract approval engineer after the contract was signed.
