Dictators seldom go down.. due to an election. trumps team has noted how countries like Russia, Iran, Iraq, Venezuela, Egypt, Turkey, the former Ukraine, Georgia, North Korea, have elections and win big. trump has had time to get his men in the right place and we should all worry.. if he survives the impeachment.. he will win
Jen….. your “comics” are more like horror novels, sadly. Beautiful work, of course….. but the truth you speak….. it just saddens me so. much. I think many of us will be driven to drink quite a number of boilermakers and will cry in our beers for decades if we have to repeat this horror for another 4 years.
We WILL impeach Trump – we may not convict him, but we will impeach him.
In that way, Trump will join with two other Presidents in always being listed in the history books as bearing the shame of being impeached (Nixon would be on the list, as well, but he resigned before impeachment could be started)
I’m assuming that everybody noted that Sunday morning, Trump’s description of the ISIS leaders “take-down” was of a bigger and grander action and much more significance than was Obama’s “take-down” of the Al-Qaeda leader. If you can stand to listen to the man, listen to how he denigrates Obama, bin Laden and, by inference, the almost 3000 dead from 9-11 during his Sunday morning self-aggrandizing ramble touting, more than anything else, Trump’s greatness.
The great thing (if there can be a great thing in the indicting of an American president) is that, once impeached, there will be no way for Trump to eradicate Obama from the American mind without also reminding Americans of Trump’s own failures and duplicity.
Personally, I really don’t care whether the republican idiots and morons (sorry for the redundancy) in the Senate convict Trump or not. Once he’s impeached, his name will forever after have that little asterisk of shame beside his name.
