Aren’t the Iraqi oil wells that our troops have been moved to protect in the Kurdish section of Iraq?

How does one describe that individual in the white house? I mostly refer him as the dumb ass. Just being polite.

Donny says that the Kurds can travel to the oil fields and be protected by US troops. He loves his oil fields. It’s only a few hundred miles away. They can set up their new home right next to and oil derrick. Very pleasant to eat and sleep by. Free rides for the kids. Donny’s bigly brain working magnificently once again. /s

Clinton stopped ethnic cleansing in Bosnia. Trump is actively participating in ethnic cleansing in Syria

From the first Iraq invasion, protecting the oil is why we bonded with the Kurds who did the protecting. Same for now and Bonespurs has made it clear that it is OIL not lives he and his buddies want to protect. Gee where have we seen that before in the Middle East?

So is it clear that Trump values oil, but not human beings?

But why didn’t he deem it necessary to send those additional troops to “protect” those Iraqi oilfields before he withdrew support from the Syrian Kurds?

I’d be inclined to say it’s just another of his grandstanding plays, except for on thing: Aren’t those oil field in the Kurdish part of Iraq?

If so, he’s not “protecting” them from ISIS; he’s helping the ethno-racist Iraqi government to take control of those oilfields away from those who live on them. In other words, he’s attacking the Kurds on a second front. And you can bet Erdogan is pleased.
