A man is playing golf when a funeral procession drives by the golf course. The man stops his game, removes his hat and holds it over his heart, standing in respectful silence until the procession is out of sight.
Another golfer approaches him and says, “I must say, you are a gentleman. That was very considerate of you.”
The man replies, “Well, we were married for 40 years.”
As one who watched in horror as my beloved wife passed away suddenly five years ago, I would concur with that. Just as there is NO timetable for the grief process, I would never begrudge anyone going through the same thing from dealing with it in a manner that works best for them.

Besides, if those “GA” pennants mean they’re rooting for the Atlanta Falcons, there’s plenty of mourning to be done right where he’s sitting…
