I’m with Frank. When they have achieved a sufficient level of ubiquity, they will activate a hive mind and take over. We’ll become like The Borg (see Star Trek: Next Generation).
Can’t do that with an old table-top phone. Ya don’t have pockets big enough to carry one. And then, there’s the cord…
That’s why I keep mine tethered to the wall, so it won’t run off.
I’m sure the Apple engineers are wprking on it!
