As I recall, that doesn’t stop the teens with pillowcases and a hankering for nice fresh candy!

“Did you turn it off before noon, like we decided?”

They need a note “no candy left, sorry!” and to put the light off.

If you don’t want trick-or-treaters coming to your house, leave your porch light off, and when they come anyway, they’ll stumble and fall in the dark and hurt themselves, and then they can sue you for it.
