I am one of those who does not do make up at all (except when on stage) and, when my hair was long (down to the back of my knees) – kept it up in a bun, or, when arthritis started in my shoulders, cut it very, very short (almost buzz cut – just enough in the front for a flower clip – 10 seconds to brush and clip). Thing is I LOVE to have people fuss over my make and hair (well, when my hair was long, anyway). I was always happy to be someone’s blank canvas. When I was in a show, I always made sure I was early so the make up artists could have time to play around with my “look” for the show. We had lots of fun.
