Ahhh yes. . The great ramp plus rocket launch scenario … There was a book and a movie called “When Worlds Collide”… plus something right out of an early 1900s movie sci-fi based on Jules Verne’s “Flight to the Moon” both of which had a ramp scene for the rocket being propelled into space… … Both films are hysterically enjoyable, even though both are flawed when compared to what we know today… my lifelong love affair with science fiction. Still brings me enjoyment.
