Way back in the day when my wife was at work, someone would say something about me babysitting. I would always correct them that I was being their father.
Reminds me of one time when my nephew was little, my sister couldn’t leave work in time, so she asked me to pick him up from school. He introduced me to his teacher as “the babysitter.”
