Confused…. in a previous strip, Samantha held up a little blue shirt, indicating a baby boy. But then there was a strip saying his name was “Homeslice” (?)….which, unless she was kidding, indicates the addition is not a child. And she’s obviously not pregnant by the drawing. Sounds like a puppy is arriving. (I guess he will wear the shirt?).
Maybe a little kitten is showing up next week. Also, Now that Ginger is watching from above, she has her claws back and everybody knows not to forget to feed her or their wings will be clawed off.
“When’s your next visit to the OB/GYN? Do we have ultrasound pictures I can look at? I was expecting you to be a little, um, plumper with a little one and all. Which room should we convert into a nursery? We need to buy a crib! And baby clothes! And diapers! Do you have a ‘GO’ bag ready? Which hospital? We should make a test run to see how long it takes. Have you told your parents yet? I still need to tell mine. How did you arrive at the name “Homeslice”? Shouldn’t I get a say in this? How many weeks along are we? Wait, due date next week? AHHHHH…"
