Well, at least the hit man just has a violin and not a machine gun. He can’t hurt you too badly with a violin.

Today is:

National Pawpaw Day. I’ve never seen, much less eaten a pawpaw

Talk like a Pirate Day. I believe I’ll pass on that one

Butterscotch pudding day. Butterscotch pudding is okay, but right now I have lemon pudding in my fridge

Good morning everyone. I hate to complain but I cut my left index finger Monday. I went to the ER. Three stitches. I noticed yesterday that the end of my finger had turned black. I unwrapped my finger. It bled. Went back to the ER. The nurse loosely rewrapped my finger. I see a hand specialist this morning. Hopefully he can tell if I have a blood blister or if the end of my finger has died. It hurts constantly. So far the pain med hasn’t eased the pain much. Your prayers are greatly appreciated.

Let’s hope Annie is in the next room.

UPDATE: I saw the hand specialist. The nurse redressed my finger. The doctor said that it is too early to tell if I will lose my finger. (That was not what I wanted to hear).

That dirty rat!

At least it’s not the mice from Overboard. They use airplanes! On another note, one of my cats brought a live frog inside. Thankfully, I got it (the frog) back outside unharmed. I think it was a red legged frog.
