Democracy requires effort on the part of the electorate and too many people do not want to put in that effort which is allowing the infection to weaken the patient. The world is changing at a very fast pace as are demographics and those who can’t keep up want us to recede into autocracy to be powerful … without merit that you have to work to acquire.
To the contrary: it was the politicians in Parliament directly going against the popular vote on Brexit that got Boris Johnson where he is in the first place. A vote was held, “leave” won, and the political elites have been doing everything possible to pretend the public never spoke.
This has to be the ‘political mess of the century’……if Britain can’t resolve this issue in an appropriate and acceptable way….without losing every dime the breakaway countries still have……they should cancel all their efforts to date and deal seriously with their trading partners to save whatever they can.

This has to be the ‘political mess of the century’……if Britain can’t resolve this issue in an appropriate and acceptable way….without losing every dime the breakaway countries still have……they should cancel all their efforts to date and deal seriously with their trading partners to save whatever they can.
